Braval

Last Thursday, November 7th, our team visited Braval, a company that makes the recovery and treatment of solid waste, in order to improve our performance for the project we are preparing.

Braval currently receives waste from the 6 municipalities mentioned: Braga, Póvoa de Lanhoso, Vieira do Minho, Amares, Vila Verde and Terras de Bouro.

The Braval system covers a total area of ​​1,121 km2 and a population of 290,387 inhabitants that produces approximately 112 thousand tons / year of solid urban waste.

During the company visit, our team visited the sorting part and the waste reception and discharge part and was informed about what Braval does and how we can value the waste in our daily lives.
