Factors of production - Part I

Factors of production are the inputs needed for the creation of a good or service.

They can be divided into production objects (materials), productive labor, means of production (direct and indirect) and production information (Carvalho, 2008).

In this post we will explain the production objects and productive labor of our company, BioGround.

Production objects:

Primary materials:

- stainless steel sheets

- shredder

- stirring paddles

- electrical components

- rubber

Secondary materials:

- lubricating oils

- packing boxes

- styrofoam

- tape

- solder

Productive labor:

Labor can be direct or indirect. In total our company has 19 employees, 8 of which are characterized for being direct labor and 11 indirect labor.
