BioGround proposed some ecological measures to benefit the environment and people, taking into account the product, industrial activity, the facilities and social responsibility.
The product:
We use renewable and recyclable raw materials (stainless steel plate, rubber, compostable packing box).
Industrial activity:
In order to reduce waste generation, when we buy stainless steel plates and rubber, we order the right measures so that there is as little surplus as possible;
Chips that result from welding and deburring metal parts will be donated to school laboratories to be used in chemical experiments.
The composter instructions will be printed inside their packing boxes to reduce paper usage;
Implementation of photovoltaic panels and corridor presence sensor systems to illuminate the required areas for the required time;
In order to reduce water consumption in production, we will use rainwater previously collected and stored and to reduce water consumption in bathrooms we will install automatic taps in sinks and urinals;
Container placement in the canteen and offices so that recycling can take place.
Facilities and social responsibility:
The location of our company is relatively close to our suppliers in order to reduce the emission of polluting gases in the transport of raw materials;
Preference in hiring local labor to encourage workers to commute to work on foot or by bicycle, bus, etc.
